Michael worked as an introductory film to Michael Jackson. Experiencing Michael's songs on a huge IMAX screen with big, powerful sound was wonderful. There is a proper story, mainly centered on his relationship with his father. His father is difficult, and some parts felt pretty heavy, but Michael's music lifted the energy, which was great. The same is true of Bohemian Rhapsody: the real thing is still more incredible. So this is ultimately an introductory film, but it was a very good movie for anyone who wants to be immersed in Michael's songs on a big screen.
